LEARN. EXCHANGE. TAKE IT HOME.
Five days of European learning in Antwerp for VET, Adult Education and School Education professionals. Discover inspiring practices, exchange ideas with colleagues from across Europe and turn what you learn into concrete improvements for your own school or organisation.
What you will experience
This is not a week of sitting in a classroom. Creativity, Design Thinking and structured problem-solving are used as practical tools rather than separate theoretical subjects.
Starting from a concrete challenge in their own educational practice, participants explore different perspectives, exchange experiences with international colleagues and develop possible solutions. By the end of the Learning Week, each participant will have created a first practical Improvement Plan to take forward within their own organisation.
The process is adapted to the professional backgrounds, expertise and challenges that participants bring to the international group.
LEARNING THEMES
The Learning Week is not a series of separate workshops or training sessions on the themes below. These themes reflect the educational contexts and challenges that participants may bring to the international group. They provide a starting point for exchanging practices and developing a practical Improvement Plan.
Themes may include:
• Work-based learning and internship guidance
• Inclusive VET and Adult Education
• Supporting learners with diverse and specific educational needs
• Multilingual and newcomer learners
• Social-emotional learning and learner wellbeing
• Innovative teaching and learning practices
• Connecting education, work and society
TAKE HOME - From inspiration to action
A Learning Week should create more than inspiration.
Throughout the week, you will translate what you discover into a practical improvement plan for your own school or organisation.
You return home not only with new contacts and European perspectives, but with concrete ideas and next steps that you can share with colleagues and continue working on.

Learning does not stop at the classroom door.
Antwerp becomes part of the Learning Week. Its neighbourhoods, workplaces, culture and public spaces provide opportunities to observe, discuss and learn.
There will also be time for informal international exchange and for experiencing the city together.
December: discover Antwerp during the Christmas season.
May: experience Antwerp in spring.
Come to learn — and leave with new ideas, new connections and Antwerp as part of the experience.

Course fee
€400 per participant
Special offer: Register four participants from the same organisation and the fourth participant receives a 50% discount — saving your organisation €200. Discounts for larger groups can be discussed.
For whom?
Education and training professionals working in VET, Adult Education and relevant School Education settings.
Funding
The Learning Week may be funded through Erasmus+ KA1 staff mobility. The course fee may be covered by the Erasmus+ grant.
Travel and accommodation are arranged and paid for separately by the participant or sending organisation. These costs may also be covered by their Erasmus+ grant.
Participation without Erasmus+ funding is also possible.
Certificate
Participants who complete the full five-day programme receive a Certificate of Participation.
Language
English. You do not need perfect English. The Learning Week is designed for international exchange, with participants from different countries and language backgrounds.
Group size
The Learning Week will take place with a minimum of 12 paying participants. If a larger number of participants registers, the group may be divided into smaller groups for certain parts of the programme, allowing for meaningful exchange, interaction and attention to participants’ professional interests.

ERASMUS+KA1 staff mobility
The Learning Weeks can be funded through Erasmus+ KA1 staff mobility.
If your organisation already has Erasmus+ funding, the €400 course fee can normally be paid from the available grant. Travel and accommodation are arranged separately and may also be covered by the Erasmus+ grant.
New to Erasmus+?
Your organisation may be able to apply for funding. The possibilities and application procedures depend on your education sector and country. Your National Agency for Erasmus+ can help you find the right funding option.
Participation is also possible without Erasmus+ funding.
